CREATING VISUAL PRESENTATIONS
This course is a comprehensive training course on the needed skills in using electronic presentation software. This course covers topics like working with slides, embedding graphic objects and other special effects to enhance a presentation.

This course introduces participants to the world of digital photos, cameras. This project oriented workshop leads the participants to learning how to use digital cameras, computer software, and hardware in taking, storing, and editing digital pictures.

The course aims to teach advanced level skills in using office applications that are commonly used in the workplace. This involves working with multiple documents, dealing with more complex mathematical computations and analysis of data, and using a social networking site.

DEVELOPING A CULTURE OF EXCELLENCE
Philippine education is currently torn by two opposing forces: the challenge of achieving globally competitive quality; and the challenge of keeping educational costs at a fraction of international standards. Some experts claim that it is possible to overcome either of the two challenges; but never both. Yet others believe that it is possible to design an educational system that hurdles both challenges; but if and only if the educational institution and its constituents develop a culture of excellence.
Developing a culture of excellence requires unforgiving dedication, self-sacrifice, and unquenchable creativity. From a management point of view, it requires more than training, coaching and the issuance of official memoranda. For its desirable values cannot be taught; it can only be caught! It is best learned by performing work assignments and actually achieving educational outputs and outcomes using strategy-focused management plans and information systems. ACSHS senior excels in Nat'l Science Quest
With his Investigatory Project "The Viability of Pako in Increasing the Metabolic Rate of Guinea Pigs", Neil Carlo L. Rivera, IV-Platinum student of Aldersgate College Science High School, bagged 9th place in the investigatory project competition in the recently concluded National Science Quest held at Tabaco City, Albay on February 3-5, 2010.
Rivera was one of the 13 finalists who were squeezed out of the 45 participants from all over the country to undertake project defense and qualify for the congress. He eventually ranked 9 during the finals.
Rivera represented Region 2 and Nueva Vizcaya after winning second place in the regional level.
Mrs. Cathelyn C. Mariano his project adviser/ coach and Mrs Felicidad O. Furigay, his science teacher, were with him. #MJT
Paragon eds win in Luzonwide Press Con

Two Paragon editors outwitted other scribes in the Luzonwide Higher Education Press Conference held in Lingayen, Pangasinan last February 7-10. Mark Loi Yarcia, BSN III, and Gideon Arzadon, BSED IV, romped off with the 4th place in Photojournalism and 9th place in Poetry Writing (both English categories) respectively.
